The Mattawan Memorial Day Car Show is an annual event celebrating classic and custom vehicles in Mattawan, Michigan. When the pandemic forced the event online, Appletree MediaWorks built a complete virtual platform to maintain the tradition. Participants could register their vehicles, upload photos to a virtual gallery, and allow attendees to log in and vote for their favorites. This system created an engaging digital experience while keeping the community connected and the event alive.

As the event returned to in-person gatherings, we enhanced the website, providing online access to event photos for remote attendees. We also developed a secure, text-based voting system, allowing live attendees to vote for their favorite vehicles. The system ensured each participant could submit only their allotted number of votes.

To streamline event operations, the site includes WooCommerce shopping cart integration for pre-registration and sponsorships. This allows organizers to manage registrations and supporters efficiently. The resulting platform is both versatile and powerful, supporting the show's growth and enhancing audience engagement for a seamless experience for participants and attendees, whether online or in person.
