Appletree MediaWorks collaborated with AFGE Local 1658, a local of the American Federation of Government Employees, AFL-CIO, to deliver a modern and engaging new website for its membership. We built a custom WordPress website with a clean design that places union news and communications at the forefront. This prominence makes it simple for members to stay informed about the latest updates and initiatives.

The home page was designed to serve as a hub for information, featuring timely announcements and resources while also integrating features such as contact forms and aggregated news feeds. These resources allow the union to connect more effectively with members and provide a central space for important information.

Equally important, we ensured the site would remain easy to maintain. At hand-off, our team trained union administrators on WordPress best practices, empowering them to confidently update content, post news, and manage their website without the need for ongoing assistance.

The end result is a user-friendly, professional website that strengthens AFGE Local 1658's communications strategy while supporting the union's mission of serving and advocating for its members.
